Comments on the geologic information

  • 135 ft. shaft sunk on a 3-11 ft thick vein that strikes N70W and dips 65S, in Precambrian quartzite. The vein crosscuts the bedding in the quartzite. Quartzite is overlain by a 150 ft. thick diorite sill that strikes EW, dips S.
  • fissure vein in quartzite made up of calcite filled breccia with disseminated mineralization in the calcite and in some quartz fragments
  • E-W trending quartzite and mafic intrusives; NW-trending Divide Peak Synclinorium; 1 1/2 mi SW of NW-trending Savery Creek Fault
