  • APART FROM THE MAJOR DEPOSITS IN THE CAUCASUS AREA, THE URUPSKOYE, THE KHUDOSSKOYE, AND OTHERS, NEW AND ORIGINAL TYPES OF COPPER PYRITE AND PYRITE POLYMETALLIC DEPOSITS HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED IN THIS REGION, OCCURRING NOT IN IGNEOUS BUT IN SANDSTONE-SHALE ROCK. THESE INCLUDE THE KIZEL-DERE DEPOSITS, WHICH ARE FOUND IN THE FORM OF TWO LENSE-SHAPED BODIES.
