  • TAILINGS ARE DISCHARGED BY GRAVITY ONTO THE SEA BED WITH- OUT ANY THICKENING OR WATER RECOVERY. DMS FLOATS ARE SOLD AS AGGREGATE. IN ADDITION TO THE UNDERGROUND ORE, APPROXIMATELY 60,000 MT OF LOW GRADE STOCKPILE DUMP ORE IS BEING PROCESSED EACH YEAR. AT THIS RATE, THE STOCKPILE ORE HAS A LIFE OF 6 YEARS. THE CONCENTRATOR CAPACITY LISTED INCLUDES BOTH THE UNDERGROUND ORE AND THE STOCKPILE DUMP ORE.
  • THE HOST ROCK IS STABLE AND NO SUPPORTS ARE NEEDED OTHER THAN OCCASIONAL TIMBERING IN THE DRIFTS AND/OR ROOF BOLTING IN FRACTURED ZONES.
  • HIGH GRADE TIN CONCENTRATES ARE TRANSPORTED TO THE MENSA SMELTER AT PONTEVEDRA, SPAIN. THE MEDIUM AND LOW GRADE TIN CONCENTRATES ARE TRUCKED TO THE CAPPER PASS TIN SMELTER/REFINERY OF RTZ NEAR HULL.
