  • PRODUCTION 3,000 TONS FELDSPAR AND ABOUT 3 TONS BERYL/YR. DURING 1961-1964. 2 PEGMATITES LYING CLOSE TOGETHER ABOUT 5 MILES FROM KAKAMAS IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF ROAD LEADING TO NEIMOS. BODY NEAREST ROAD IS 230 M LONG AND SELDOM MORE THAN 15 M WIDE, VERTICAL DIP. 91 M LONG, 10.7 M WIDE AND 9.1 M DEEP EXCAVATION AT EASTERN END IN 1964. SOUTHERNMOST PEGMATITE IS 67 M LONG, VARYING WIDTH OF 15 TO 45 M, DEPTH OF ABOUT 6 M. CO-ORDINATES ARE OF A SMALL HILL JUST SOUTH OF KAKAMAS TO NEIMOS ROAD, 5 MILES BY ROAD FROM KAKAMAS.
