Deposit THE MINE IS A SMALL CHINESE GRAVEL -PUMP OPERATION AT THE EASTERN END OF THE RAWANG VALLEY. THE ALLUVIAL DEPOSITS OVERLIE THE GRANITE OF THE MAIN RANGE MOUNTAINS. IN 1948 TIN ORE AMOUNTING TO 761 PIKULS (45.3 TONS) WAS PRODUCED. THE TIN HAS ITS ORIGIN FROM HYDROTHERMAL VEINS INTRUDED INTO LIMESTONE.
