  • THE PRECAMBRIAN IRON FORMATION MAINLY CONSISTS OF AMPHIBOLE-CHLORITE ITABARITES, SCHISTS AND QUARTZITES, WHICH DIP 30-45 DEGREES. THE ORE BODIES ARE DERIVED FROM THE DESILICATION AND LATERIZATION OF THE UNDERLYING MAGNETIC FORMATION.
