Comments on the reserve resource information

  • COMPANY DID NOT STATE EXACT RESERVES, BUT THEY DID MENTION THAT UNOFFICIALLY AT THE CURRENT RATE OF MINING THEY HAVE 100 YEARS RESERVES LEFT AS OF JAN 1981. FOR IN-PLACE ORE THESE MINABLE RESERVES ARE DIVIDED BY THE MINE RECOVERY RATE (92 %). DILUTION FACTOR = 0%.
  • 1994 ADIT UPDATE: RESERVES FROM MISS CHEM CORP STOCK ISSUE PROSPECTUS, AUG 18, 1994. P. 34. PRODUCTION IS MINE/PLANT CAPACITY BASED ON PRODUCT OF 381,000 MT/YR OF 60% K2O, 82% REC. AND RECOVERABLE GRADE OF 14.88% TO CALCULATE MILL PLANT FEED OF 1,870,000 MTS/YR. IN MAY 1994, COMPANY COMPLETED A PLANT EXPANSION WHICH INCREASED GRANULAR POTASH PRODUCTION CAPACITY FROM 270,000 MTS TO APPROX- 381,000 MTS/YR. (MISS CHEM STOCK PROSPECTUS, 8/18/94, P. 3.) FURTHER EXPANTION, BY 1995 TO BRING CAPACITY TO 520000 ST/YR. (472000 MTS/YR). SEE "P" BIBL. REF. FOR DETAILS.
