  • THIS DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION OF SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN. THIS FORMATION IS GENERALLY FLAT LYING, BUT GRADUALLY DIPS TO THE SOUTH. TO THE NORTH THE FORMATION IS APPROXIMATELY 3500 FEET DEEP.

Deposit THIS DEPOSIT IS ONE OF 14 ADDITIONAL SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA, POTASH DEPOSITS ADDED TO THE 1982 ECONOMIC EVALUATION, BECAUSE OF ADDITIONAL RESOURCES ESTIMATED BY MAFO PERSONNEL. THESE RESOURCES REPRESENT DEPOSITS THAT WERE OWNED BY MINING COMPANIES IN THE PAST, BUT BECAME UNECONOMICAL TO HOLD. THE LEASES WERE SUBSEQUENTLY DROPPED.
