  • OPERATIONAL MODIFICATIONS REQUIRE THAT AN UPDATE BE PERFORMED FENI PLANT SUFFERED MAJOR TECH PROBLEMS IN 1987 AND 1988. FENI PRODUCTION WAS GREATLY EFFECTED. ORE EXPORTS TO JAPAN CONTINUED AND SOME ORE WAS SENT TO GREENVALE, AUSTRALIA. 1988 NI IN ORE AND FENI SHOULD BE APPROX. 14,000 - 15,000 MT (RECOVERED). RESOURCES ARE CONSIDERED LARGE ENOUGH FOR OVER 50 YRS OF PROD.
