  • PRODUCT D REFLECTS THE TOTAL AMOUNTS OF SILVER AND GOLD RECOVERED IN ALL CONCENTRATES. MOST SILVER AND GOLD ARE CONTAINED IN THE COPPER CONCENTRATE.
  • THE GARPENBERG DEPOSIT HAS BEEN KNOWN SINCE THE 14 CENTURY, BUT RECENT WORK, INCLUDING DRAINING A PORTION OF LAKE GRUYSJON, BEGAN IN 1942. GARPENBERG NORRA WAS MINED IN 1904-1908. DRILLING WAS DONE IN 1942 BUT NO DEVELOPMENT ENSUED. IN 1962, AS THE RESULT OF ADDITIONAL DRILLING, THE MINE OPENED.
