Comments on the reserve resource information

  • CEASED TIN MINING IN MAY OF 1986 AS A RESULT OF EXHAUSTION OF ECONOMIC ORE RESERVES, THE REMAINING LOW-GRADE RESOURCES BEING UNECONOMIC AT THE TIN PRICE LEVLES WHICH HAVE FOLLOWED THE 1985 COLLAPSE OF THE TIN MARKET. SIGNIFICANT TONNAGES OF LOW-GRADE TIN RESOURCES REMAIN AT BOTH THE CLEVELAND AND ARDLETHAN MINES BUT ARE CONSIDERED UNECONOMIC AT PREVAILING PRICES.
