Deposit THE BISHOP, GLUOCHESTER, AND PALING MINES WERE OPERATED AS A UNIT, SO-NAMED "SOUTHERN FARMS", AND GENERALLY FED A COMMON MILL. THE ORE WAS LOW GRADE AND USED MAINLY FOR BLENDING. THE MINES WERE SHUTDOWN IN 1983, APPARENTLY PERMANTLY. THE ERRATIC NATURE OF THE ORE OCCURENCES PRECLUDES ANY RELIABLE RESOURCE ESTIMATE.
