| Relative position | Discovery Creek, which is not named on the topographic map, drains the south flank of Sukakpak Mountain. It is about 1 1/2 miles long and heads in the area of the Sukakpak Sb-Au vein prospect (CH076). The point of reference is near the mouth of the creek (sec. 22, T. 32 N., R. 10 W., of the Fairbanks Meridian), but the site of any placer mining on the creek is not known. The location is accurate within a 1/2-mile radius. |
