Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = The mine is on the south bank of a low-gradient tributary to the Chistochina. It is about one-quarter of a mile west of a winter trail into the Chistochina mining area in the Mt. Hayes quadrangle. This seems an unlikely location for a barrow or gravel pit and there is no other record of a lode or placer deposit here.
