Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = The country rocks in the area of this site are intermediate and mafic metaplutonic rocks of Silurian or Ordovician age, and ultramafic plutonic rocks, probably of Cretaceous age (Berg and others, 1988). The ultramafic rocks are in thrust contact with the underlying Paleozoic rocks. The only information about this site that has been made public, is that 50 sacks of copper ore reportedly were shipped from the property in 1907 (Cobb and Elliott, 1980, p. 26).
