Relative position The occurrence is in Little Gulch, a small west tributary to upper Nome River, whose mouth is opposite the mouth of Sulphur Creek. The occurrence is located where the Miocene Ditch crosses Little Gluch, 0.4 mile west of the Nome-Taylor road. This is locality 54 of Hummel (1975).
