Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Hummel (1962 [MF 248]) identified this as an iron sulfide occurrence with arsenopyrite, pyrite, and possibly pyrrhotite. It may be in crosscutting veins or disseminated in the amphibolite facies, biotite-bearing metasedimentary bedrock (Bundzten and others, 1994). It is not known if other sulfide minerals are present.
