Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = This occurrence is in Quaternary pyroclastic and debris flow deposits (Wilson and others, 1995). The rocks include shale, lithic tuff, and pumice lapilli tuff. Two samples collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in the mid-1980s were reported to be anomalous in arsenic and copper (Wilson and others, 1988).
