Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Occurrence is described as Upper Devonian Kanayut Conglomerate with abundant quartz veins, sericite, iron-oxide staining, and pyrite (Menzie and others, 1985). Geochemical analysis shows 50 ppm Cu, 10 ppm Mo, 50 ppm Pb, 1 ppm Be, and 40 ppm Zn (Menzie and others, 1985; USGS field station 75 ABE138).
