Grab samples of the deposit contain as much as 0.24 ppm gold, 1.8 ppm silver, 3 ppm mercury, and 380 ppm lead. The country rocks are largely Jurassic volcanic rocks (Box and others, 1993).
  • Age = Tertiary the preservation of a surface hot spring deposit containing plant fragments suggests that they are Tertiary in age.
