Relative position	The Camp Bird prospect is on the right limit of Eva Creek at an elevation of about 1,100 feet in the SW1/4 sec. 32, T. 1 N., R. 2 W., Fairbanks Meridian; it is across the creek from the Clipper Mine (FB047) and about 100 feet in elevation above the creek bed (Reed, 1938, p. 10). It is about 1.5 miles north of the town of Ester. The prospect is locality 149 of Chapman and Foster (1969).

Workings / Exploration = A tunnel and two shafts were driven on a vein (Reed, 1938, p. 10). The tunnel was driven 90 feet and a 20-foot winze was sunk about 30 feet from the portal. In the summer of 1938, a 28-foot shaft and a 60-foot shaft were sunk on the prospect.
