  • HAD 4.5 MILE LONG 3' GAUGE TRAM TO HURON BAY TO A 600'DECK PIER 100' WIDE FOR LOADING ROOFING SLATE. SHARED TRAM AND PORT WITH CLINTON SLATE MINE. WAS OPEN PIT BUT DID SINK SHAFTS AS PART OF OPERATION TO EXTRACT SLATE.
