  • BEST EXPLORED SHEAR ZONE IN THE NORTH BLOCK. IDENTIFIED BY THE PRESENCE OF ABUNDANT FELSIC DIKES. $2063 WORTH OF GOLD OBTAINED FROM THIS PROPERTY UP TO 1893 WHEN OPERATIONS SUDDENLY STOPPED.

Deposit GOLD IN QUARTZ VEINS STRIKING EAST/WEST, GENERAL DIP IS 60 SOUTH, 2 VEINS MENTIONED. VALUES OF 0.01 TO 0.02 OZ/TON AU OCCUR WITH FINELY DISSEMINATED PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE IN RHYOLITE PORPHYRY AND 0.01-0.06 OZ/TON IN IRON FORMATION. HIGHEST VALUES FOUND IN QUARTZ-SULFIDE VEINS A FEW INCHES WIDE (BODWELL, 1972). GOLD LOCALIZED AT CONTACTS OF THE PORPHYRIES.
