  • Production in 1936 was 24 tons of ore grading 0.515 opt Au and 5.49 opt Ag, total value of $280. Much early production was probably unreported.
    Reserves in 1996 were reported as 96,000 oz Au.

Comments on development

  • The mine was developed on 6 unpatented claims in 1940 at which time it was owned by W.H. Schweis. Considerable prospecting has been done iover the years, with production of only several car loads of ore. The property has possible potential for a bulk-mineable precious metal deposit. Ownership was listed as Societe Miniere Mimiska, Inc. in1996.
