Comments on the location information

  • There is an adit on the topo in the NW4 of Sec. 3. This is the coordinate location used for this record. It may, or may not, be this deposit. There is insufficient information to make this determination.
  • Terry Klein gives this site as W900017, Unnamed Mine, and assumes it is a Cu-Au deposit in Precambrian rocks belonging to the low-sulfied Au-quartz vein deposit type, however there is no reference other than the adit on the Barcus Peak topo map.
