  • "Mineralization includes cupriferous and rare-earth-bearing pegmatites and a few, narrow but rich, auriferous veins. Both the Big Creek and Platte pegmatites are known for their copper and rare-earth mineralization. (Hausel, Bull. 68, p. 91).
