Geologic information

Identification information

Deposit ID 10401237
Record type Site
Current site name LP Mine and Wet Plant
Alternate or previous names Lundequam and Picknell

Comments on the site identification

  • May possibly include the Kendall Klevgard mine operated by ASP. But the entry in the http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/Mines/ISMMap.html dataset is likely outdated or erroneous because it says it is in Buffalo County yet plots at the LP, which is clearly in Barron Co. If someone sorts this out, please correct this record and delete this comment.

Comments on the site names

  • Superior Silica Sands named the mine LP after the previous owners: the Lundequam and Picknell Families.
