PROMINENT PEAKS INCLUDE SUNSHING MTN, CROSS MTN, GLADSTONE PEAK, WILSON PEAK, MT. WILSON, AND EL DIENTE PEAK. DISTRICT EXTENDS ONTO DOLORES PEAK (1953) AND LITTLE CONE (1953) QUADS AND PORTION OF DRAINAGE AREA 14030002 (DOLORES CO.). DISTRICT ACCESSIBLE FROM DUNTON VIA TRAIL UP WEST DOLORES RIVER TO NAVAJO BASIN; VIA TRAIL SOUTH FROM SAN MIGUEL RIVER VALLEY AND COLORADO RTE. 145; VIA TRAIL WEST FROM OPHIR AND LIZARD HEAD PASS-TROUT LAKE.
