  • GEOL.DESC: LIMESTONE IS MASSIVELY BEDDED, STRIKES N10 TO 35W, DIPS 22 TO 30S AND IS IN CONTACT WITH A MEDIUM GRAINED HORNBLENDE-BIOTITE GRANODIORITE-SLIVERS OF FINE-GRAINED SCHISTOSE HORNBLENDE-QTZ. DIORITE ARE FOUND AT PLACES ALONG SHEARED CONTACT. A SMALL METAMORPHIC BODY COMPLETELY SILICATED LIES JUST NORTH OF LIMESTONE PENDANT. THIS BODY IS ROUGHLY DIVIDED LONGITUDINALLY INTO TWO MINERALOGICAL ASSEMBLAGES WITH A GARNET-EPIDOTE TACTITE ON NE SIDE AND DIOPSIDE-WOLLASTONITE ROCK ON SW SIDE.
