| Deposit | TWO EXPLORATORY ADITS, ONE CROSSCUT ACCESS ADIT, TWO GLORY HOLES, AN OPEN CUT, AND STOPES FROM THE UPPER WORKINGS CONNECTED BY RAISES. GEOLOGY: LIMESTONE IS MASSIVELY BEDDED, STRIKES N. 10 TO 35 W., DIPS 22 TO 30 S. AND IS IN CONTACT WITH A MEDIUM GRAINED HORNBLENDE-BIOTITE GRANODIORITE-SLIVERS OF FINE-GRAINED SCHISTOSE HORNBLENDE-QTZ. DIORITE ARE FOUND AT PLACES ALONG SHEARED CONTACT. A SMALL METAMORPHIC BODY COMPLETELY SILICATED LIES JUST NORTH OF LIMESTONE PENDANT. THIS BODY IS ROUGHLY DIVIDED LONGITUDINALLY INTO TWO MINERALOGICAL ASSEMBLAGES WITH A GARNET-EPIDOTE TACTITE ON NE SIDE AND DIOPSIDE-WOLLASTONITE ROCK ON SW SIDE. |
