THE JOURNAL PAYDIRT (INTERMOUNTAIN) IN PAGES 11 AND 12 STATES THAT NORANDA AND NEWPARK RESOURCES OF NEW ORLEANS HAD AGREED IN PRINCIPAL ON A 50-50 JOINT VENTURE. THIS ARTICLE TITLED "TO REOPEN MAYFLOWER MINE", NO. 19, APRIL,1981 WAS PUBLISHED AFTER THE EVALUATION WAS COMPLETED.
